The digital KOLAS7 package

The O3 version of KOLAS7 combines a folding seven-inch airframe with DJI's O3 video system. It is a distinct purchasing choice from the analogue KOLAS7: the aircraft format may be familiar, but the goggles and onboard video equipment have to match this digital version. GPS is part of the manufacturer-listed model family.

For a pilot carrying filming equipment, the folding design is most useful as a transport feature. Camera mounts, antennas and the battery arrangement determine how much space the equipped aircraft actually needs. The camera kit should be planned together with the carrying case.

O3 video package

Specify the DJI O3 Air Unit and its camera in the supplied equipment list. Do not substitute a broad claim that the frame accepts digital transmitters. Goggle support must be checked against the installed air unit and the pilot's exact goggles, including the applicable firmware requirements.

A separate action camera is an additional filming choice. It adds weight and occupies mounting space; it is not established as included by an aircraft photograph.

Receiver package

Axisflying's O3 listing offers TBS Nano and ELRS 2.4G BNF choices, plus PNP without a receiver. These are alternative control packages. The selected receiver should be written alongside the O3 specification so a video-system choice cannot hide a radio mismatch.

Confirm the radio, goggles, flight batteries and charger as separate order items unless the quotation explicitly bundles them.

Space around the rear equipment

The elevated GPS mount and antenna supports occupy the space behind the battery. Protect them when folding or placing the aircraft into a bag. A camera accessory should not be chosen solely because its bracket fits: the complete mounting arrangement also needs room for the battery strap and wiring.

The manufacturer provides separate receiver and beeper areas. Their accessibility is useful during inspection and servicing, while the actual recovery features depend on the supplied electronics and configuration.
