G-series system selection
SKYDROID GR02 is a dual-band relay receiver for compatible G-series control equipment. Its selection question is not simply which camera socket it has. A project also needs to identify the ground units, their video and data requirements, and how control authority is intended to be managed within the supported system.

The manufacturer describes master and secondary units receiving video and data at the same time. For a civil inspection team, that is relevant when different operators need access to the same project information. Confirm the exact controller combination and software rather than assuming that any two handheld devices can participate.
The GR02 documentation also describes control switching between the supported units. The quotation should identify the intended arrangement and supplied versions. A receiver specification is not, by itself, approval for a particular aircraft operation or a guarantee of uninterrupted communication.
The manual explicitly limits GR02 to SKYDROID G-series products. A connector that physically fits another controller does not establish radio or software compatibility. List both the existing ground hardware and the aircraft-side equipment before comparing GR02 with a conventional single-controller receiver.
For the imaging part of a project, name the camera, its output connection and the application expected to display the picture. Ethernet is a physical interface; successful integration also depends on the supported stream and system configuration. Ask for that combination to be checked with the supplied hardware revision.
| Radio family | 2.4G / 5.8G dual-band specification |
|---|---|
| Video/network connections | Two LAN ports |
| Aircraft control connections | One SBUS output and three PWM interfaces |
| Telemetry | One data-transmission port; listed serial rates of 57600, 115200 and 921600 |
| Listed physical figures | 248 × 140 × 20 mm; 191 g |

The specification lists a factory-default uplink of 200 kbps and a 15 Mbps downlink. It also describes additional transfer modes with different conditions. Keep a live operational data requirement separate from a bulk-file transfer requirement; a maximum value associated with another mode should not be presented as the default performance of the complete link.
Physical planning matters too. Compare the manufacturer's overall dimensions with the intended installation, including antenna and cable space. Request the exact input-voltage specification for the supplied revision and matching harness.
The documented pairing is the SKYDROID G-series family. Provide the specific equipment names so an unsupported mix is not mistaken for a complete package.
It shows the manufacturer's GR02 hardware and accessories. Confirm the receiver, antennas, leads and any ground units as separate quotation items.
Describe the civil UAV application, participating ground devices, camera connection and telemetry needs. Include the destination market, installation space and required accessory quantities.
