The KOLAS7 is a seven-inch FPV platform whose folding arms address a practical problem: carrying a larger quad between locations. The analogue BNF version combines this transportable airframe with a receiver choice and GPS. It is aimed at pilots arranging their own radio, viewing equipment and batteries for recreational cruising or filming.
Folding changes the aircraft's packed shape, not its equipment requirements. Measure the intended bag around the camera, antennas and any accessories as well as the folded arms. Those exposed parts still need support during transport.

Match the analogue system
Analogue video and radio control are separate selections. Axisflying offers the KOLAS7 family with analogue video and ELRS 2.4G or TBS receiver choices. Select the radio option that matches your transmitter, then identify the supplied camera and video transmitter. A compatible frame mounting position does not identify the electronics fitted to an individual aircraft.
BNF is useful when the receiver is already chosen. It still leaves binding, equipment checks and a suitable flight battery to the owner. Goggles advertised for a digital system are not automatically an analogue receiver, so check the viewing equipment before ordering.
Inspect the folding joints
The KOLAS construction uses a pressing arrangement for folding and a serviceable arm attachment. The joint area deserves attention when the aircraft has been packed, unfolded or repaired. Look for damaged carbon, trapped wiring and changes in joint movement; use the manufacturer's documentation for the exact version when replacing hardware.
The raised GPS position and separate receiver and beeper areas help explain the aircraft's physical layout. They are not a promise of faster satellite acquisition or a guaranteed recovery outcome. Keep those components protected when packing around the folded frame.
Specify a complete cruising setup
Battery and mass: request the installed motor and ESC specification before selecting a pack. Compare the fully equipped weight, including the battery and camera, rather than a frame-only figure.
Time in the air: battery condition, accessories, wind and flying style change endurance. A useful estimate includes those conditions and a sensible landing reserve.
Carry kit: list replacement arms, propellers and the correct joint hardware alongside the aircraft. Their fit matters more than a shared seven-inch description.
