Manta5 Squashed X with O4 Lite

This five-inch Manta configuration combines a Squashed X frame with the O4 Lite video option and GPS. It belongs to the standard Manta5 line. The carbon plates, aluminium camera supports and open equipment area give it a different service layout from the enclosed three-inch Manta 30.

The practical purchase decision is the receiver package. Axisflying lists this exact O4 Lite model in ELRS, TBS and no-receiver configurations. Select one before arranging the radio equipment; the common video system does not make those radio options interchangeable.

Three radio configurations

ELRS BNFFor a compatible ELRS control setup. Record the supplied receiver version on the order and match the radio to it.
TBS BNFA separate receiver choice for the corresponding TBS system. Confirm the radio equipment already owned by the pilot.

Access, protection and spare parts

The front supports surround the FPV camera, while the centre frame exposes the stack area for inspection. Mounting space is useful when planning maintenance, but replacement cameras and air units need the correct brackets and clearances. A component that fits a screw pattern can still interfere with the camera cable or top plate.

Buy replacement arms for the Squashed X version. The DeadCat Manta5 has a different layout, and a matching five-inch propeller size is not enough to establish arm interchangeability. Keep a record of the frame revision and the fitted camera support when ordering spares.

Choose the battery for this build

The model is listed as a 6S configuration. Match the battery to the installed motor and ESC specification, then check deck space and strap fit. Do not transfer a generic 4S recommendation from a frame-kit page to the assembled 6S aircraft.

Neither GPS nor a particular frame shape guarantees a fixed flight time, automatic position hold or a vibration-free recording. Those results depend on the installed equipment, configuration and conditions. A quotation should name the O4 unit, receiver, GPS and power components, with goggles, transmitter, battery and charger separately itemised.
