RQ10
The RQ10 Android Ground Control Station is a handheld control terminal with a 10.1-inch display, physical controls and an Android platform. It is a candidate for civil inspection, mapping and training projects that need a screen and operator controls in one device. The terminal, video/data equipment, aircraft-side hardware and application software should be specified as separate parts of the quotation.
The brochure presents the terminal with alternative rear-module arrangements and names VW20 and VS20 video/data options. These are configuration choices for the RQ10, rather than separate RQ10 models. A quotation should identify the selected module, its ground-side and aircraft-side components, antennas, mounting parts, cables and power requirements.
Send the intended civil application, target market, sample and production quantities, aircraft/controller details, required application, video input requirements and required accessories. Ask the supplier to distinguish included items, optional items and items supplied by your own integration team. Add the required documents and sample acceptance checks so that prices refer to the same deliverables.
Request a current configuration sheet, labelled same-model photographs, packing list and software/version list. Any operating-time, environmental or communication-performance requirement should have an agreed test method and configuration before it becomes a purchase criterion.
Does the terminal alone define the video/data system?
The selected communication configuration and aircraft-side components need their own supply list. A terminal photograph does not establish what accompanies a shipment.
Can a particular Android application be assumed to work?
Ask for evidence for the actual application version, device build and intended interfaces. The Android platform description does not replace that check.
Which accessories should appear on the quotation?
List charging items, interface cables, antennas, mounting parts, cases, manuals and any software licences individually. Their inclusion is subject to the supplier's written offer.
What should be checked on a sample?
Compare the received model, configuration, software and accessories with the agreed list, then record the results of the agreed display, control and interface checks.
The following values are listed in the supplied product brochure. They describe the reference terminal and should be checked against the final configuration sheet supplied with a quotation.
