A five-inch racer built around a compact X frame

The Wind5 Lite V2 is HGLRC's 6S, ELRS 2.4 GHz racing model. Its narrow centre body leaves the four arms exposed, with a small front camera cage and a top battery position. The purple three-blade propellers make the X layout particularly clear in the product photographs.

At a published 283g plus or minus 5g before adding a battery, this is a lightweight five-inch aircraft rather than a sub-250g takeoff build. The battery is part of the flying weight, not part of that quoted airframe figure.

What matters between race sessions

Arm access. HGLRC uses a quick-release arm design with a single retaining screw. For a repair, inspect the surrounding carbon and motor lead as well as the damaged arm; replacing one part does not establish that the rest of the aircraft is undamaged.
Electronics pairing. The SPECTER F722 Lite controller is paired with a SPECTER 60A BL32 four-in-one ESC. Keep the controller and ESC identities with the aircraft's maintenance record so later work refers to the correct boards.
Props and protective parts. The supplied accessories include HQProp MCK five-inch propeller sets, two arm protection rods and a TPU shark fin. These are useful to identify when sorting spares before an event; the protection pieces do not make the carbon frame crash-proof.

Radio, video and battery are separate choices

This version uses ELRS 2.4 GHz for control and a ZEUS analog video transmitter for the FPV image. It needs a compatible ELRS transmitter and an analog viewing system. The receiver frequency does not describe the video link. Keep both system names on the equipment list when arranging a replacement radio or goggles.

HGLRC recommends a 6S LiPo in the 1300–1500mAh range. Choose physical dimensions that fit the top deck and straps as well as the stated capacity. A taller or heavier pack changes the assembled size and mass; it does not leave the bare-aircraft specification unchanged.
