Count pieces before entering packs
An FPV workshop has identified its existing extractor as FA-430. This invented restocking example needs fourteen loose pre-filters and assumes the supplier sells the manufacturer's unopened packs.

- Main filter: a different item, not the refill selected here.

Write the pack size beside the quantity. Ordering fourteen packs would supply 140 pieces; two packs cover this request with six remaining. Confirm the seller's buying unit before submitting, especially if its listing splits packs.
On receipt, match the part code and pack count to that request before allocating stock. This does not determine when a filter needs changing or authorize servicing the extractor.
