Starting an ExpressLRS build?
The internal ELRS version is the relevant option when the aircraft has a matching ExpressLRS receiver. Confirm the receiver band, supported firmware and regional configuration before choosing the transmitter package.

The RadioMaster TX16S Mark II is a full-size RC transmitter for FPV multirotors, fixed-wing UAV models and mixed aircraft fleets. Its 4.3-inch touchscreen is used for radio setup and model information. It does not replace the goggles or monitor in an FPV video system. The first buying decision is the internal RF version: ExpressLRS or 4-in-1.
This listing covers the standard Mark II family, with V4.0 Hall and AG01 stick-gimbal options. Select the RF version, region and stick hardware together; they identify different order configurations.

The internal ELRS version is the relevant option when the aircraft has a matching ExpressLRS receiver. Confirm the receiver band, supported firmware and regional configuration before choosing the transmitter package.
The 4-in-1 version uses an internal multiprotocol module. It can be useful for an existing model collection, but the exact receiver protocol and firmware still need checking. A 4-in-1 label is not a universal compatibility promise.
| Order decision | What to specify | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Internal RF | ELRS or 4-in-1 | The installed receiver must use an appropriate supported link. |
| Region | FCC or EU LBT version | Supported radio configurations differ; use the version applicable to the operating location. |
| Stick hardware | V4.0 Hall or AG01 CNC Hall | Choose the physical stick feel and adjustment options required by the pilot. |
| External module | JR-compatible module bay | A separate module requires its own matching receiver and power/configuration review. |
| Power | 6.6–8.4V DC; approved two-cell lithium arrangement | The supplied tray does not mean batteries are included. |
EdgeTX is installed by default. The 480×272 color touchscreen provides access to model setup, while switches, sliders, trims and the two sticks remain the flight inputs. A buyer moving from a small radio should consider how the larger body fits their hands and carrying case, rather than treating screen size as the only upgrade.
RadioMaster lists up to 16 channels, depending on the receiver. Count the required aircraft functions and check how the selected receiver exposes them. The headline channel count does not establish the number of outputs on every receiver or flight controller.

The published transmitter weight is 750g without a battery, with dimensions of approximately 287×129×184mm. Include the chosen battery and any external module when comparing the equipment the pilot will carry. USB-C charging and firmware-update connections are documented; use the battery types specified in the RadioMaster guide.
For an FPV drone, the control receiver and video equipment remain separate selections. Send the actual receiver model and video system with the inquiry. FD can then quote the radio configuration and requested accessories without implying that a camera, video transmitter, goggles or receiver are included in the handset price.
Can I change between ELRS and 4-in-1 in a menu?
The internal RF hardware is an order option. Software selection does not turn one internal module into the other. An external module is a separate component.
Is the touch display an onboard-camera screen?
Its documented role is radio configuration and model information. Specify an appropriate separate viewing system for the camera feed.
Does the package contain a flight battery or receiver?
The manufacturer's package list includes the transmitter, an 18650 tray and accessories, but batteries are not included. Request the intended receiver and battery explicitly.
