Two similar propeller names can describe different parts
A recreational FPV club sorting sealed spare-propeller packs needs more than a drawer marked “five-inch, three-blade.” That description can group different products together. A useful identification label preserves the manufacturer's model and revision, then separates the dimensions that the catalogue actually states.
The two Gemfan examples below are a reading exercise, not a recommendation to fit either propeller to an aircraft. The existing workshop photographs do not identify these products, and no installation or performance comparison has been carried out here.

These values come from Gemfan's 51466 V2 product specification and 51377 MAX specification, checked on 7 September 2026. Both pages describe three-blade PC products. Their shared material and blade count do not erase the differences shown above.
Do not decode a measurement from the name
Writing “4.66-inch pitch” beside 51466 would contradict the first page's explicit 3.6-inch value. Keep the model string as an identifier and read the separately labelled pitch field. Likewise, do not silently turn the manufacturer's M5 notation into a statement about a threaded hole; the page labels it as centre-hole information, not a thread drawing.
Let each line answer one identification question
Disk diameter describes the overall diameter; centre thickness is a different dimension at the hub. A matching centre-hole description alone is not a complete fit assessment. Nor does a broad size category establish clearance, suitability or permission to substitute one part for another.
Keep revision words such as V2 and MAX attached to their respective model names. Copy any direction or pack-content marking from the actual labelled package if present. If that information is missing, leave it unresolved rather than deriving it from colour, a supplier's stock photograph or a neighbouring pack.

This label is fictional. Its useful feature is the separation between a sourced specification and an unidentified physical object. A loose propeller that looks similar has not acquired the labelled pack's identity. Keep the original package reference with the known stock, and ask the supplier to resolve an ambiguous identifier before merging items.
