A video sample needs its own context
This is a guide to reviewing existing civil FPV demonstration material, not a verified Israeli delivery or an assessment of long-range performance.
A file described as high-definition video may have been exported, resized or edited before it reaches you. Keep its context attached before comparing it with another sample. The first question is what the file represents, not whether its appearance proves the capability of an entire drone system.
Ask for a short file note
- Source
- Who supplied the file, and which demonstration does that person say it belongs to?
- Equipment reference
- What camera or viewing-system version is identified by the supplier? Leave anything unnamed as unspecified.
- File history
- Is this the supplied original, an edited extract or an exported copy? Keep its filename and the explanation together.
- Viewing context
- Was the material recorded by the aircraft, captured from a viewing device or supplied in another form?
These are questions for the person supplying the material. A photograph of equipment is not an answer to the file-history question, and a filename alone does not establish the recording method.
