An empty card is not the whole storage picture
A venue editor receives an Avata 2 and Goggles 3 after an authorized civilian FPV filming session. Before saying that a requested entrance shot is missing, the editor needs to know which device and storage location have actually been inspected. This is a fictional receiving situation, not a report of recovered footage.

Avata 2 can store footage internally without a card, or internally or on its installed card. Goggles 3 need their own card to record. These options do not reveal the session's setting.
A · The goggles arrive without a card
Assume the editor has only inspected the goggles. “No goggles card supplied” does not establish that the aircraft has no recording. The unresolved branch is the aircraft, including its internal storage.
A precise response is: “I have not yet inspected the aircraft's storage.” That tells the sender what is unknown without inventing a lost clip, a camera fault or a successful recording.
B · The aircraft card looks empty
Now assume the editor has inspected the supplied aircraft card but not the internal store. The card's contents alone cannot settle whether the requested shot is in internal storage.
The conclusion is narrower than “nothing was filmed”: this inspected location has not supplied the shot. Check the other relevant location before expanding that conclusion. A supported destination is still not proof that recording began.
For either situation, report the location actually inspected, not simply “the drone files.” If a clip is found, identify its source device and store. Do not describe it as a matching copy from every branch; the map makes no such promise.
