Flight controller or complete package?
Make the N7 controller and its navigation accessories distinct
The SIYI N7 is an H7-based flight controller for civil UAV and related robotic platforms. The controller is one part of the aircraft electronics: a selected GNSS receiver, a matching power module and the required cables may form a wider package. Defining those items individually makes quotations easier to compare and avoids confusing a controller-only offer with a GPS combination.

What the N7 hardware provides
The catalog identifies an STM32H743IIK6 main processor and STM32F103 co-processor. It names BMI088 and ICM20689 inertial sensors, an MS5611 barometer and an IST8310 compass. SIYI also describes internal damping and temperature control. These are hardware characteristics to assess alongside the intended firmware; they do not establish a tested performance result for a particular aircraft.
Count connections by their actual role
The N7 lists eight standard PWM I/O and five programmable I/O. Keep those descriptions intact when comparing controllers; five programmable points should not simply be advertised as five more standard PWM channels. The external interface list also includes four UART ports, three I2C interfaces, CAN, RC input, a GPS/safety connection and a TF card slot.
For a buyer, a peripheral list is the useful starting point: receiver, telemetry link, payload interface and any sensor required by the project. Ask which connection each device will use and which leads are supplied. This is a package-selection check, not a claim that every peripheral with a matching connector is automatically compatible.

| Item in the quotation | Role to confirm |
|---|---|
| N7 controller | Controller revision, firmware support and required I/O |
| GPS or RTK option | Separately named receiver, antennas and intended navigation role |
| Power module | Battery-side rating, regulated controller supply and matching lead |
| Installation accessories | Mounting arrangement, cables and storage media where required |
Check the supply rating at the correct component
The N7 power port is listed for 4.5–5.5V and its USB input for 5V ±0.25V. A wider battery voltage range belongs to a separately specified power module. Likewise, an RTK receiver's accuracy figures are not the N7 controller's standalone positioning specification. Keeping these boundaries clear gives an integrator a more useful bill of materials.
When requesting N7, name the aircraft type, chosen ArduPilot or PX4 requirement, available space and desired receiver package. For a repeat installation, include the existing controller and accessory revision so the new quotation can be checked against it.
N7 buyer questions
- Is M9N GPS always included with N7?
- No. SIYI offers different package choices. The quoted combination should list the receiver and power module explicitly.
- Does the controller alone provide RTK accuracy?
- No. Correction-based positioning depends on a separately selected navigation receiver and the supporting system.
- Is N7 suitable only for multirotors?
- The catalog lists several vehicle types and open firmware ecosystems. Confirm the appropriate firmware release and hardware package for the intended civil platform.
