DJI Zenmuse H30 is the four-module member of the H30 series. It brings a wide-angle camera, zoom camera, laser range finder and NIR auxiliary light into one stabilized payload. For a team documenting civil infrastructure or inspecting visible surface detail, the first choice is whether those channels meet the job—or whether thermal imaging is also essential.
A 48 MP, 1/1.3-inch sensor with a 24 mm equivalent lens gives context around an inspection area. Use that view to document where a close-up belongs.
A 40 MP, 1/1.8-inch sensor and 7.1–172 mm actual focal-length lens provide the detail view. Select the camera around the feature you need to assess.
It adds a distance measurement channel. DJI lists a 3–3000 m measurement range under stated conditions; surfaces, angle and weather affect the usable distance.
This supports the series' low-light viewing functions. It is an illumination module, so it does not replace the thermal camera found in H30T.
The current DJI compatibility list includes Matrice 400, Matrice 350 RTK and Matrice 300 RTK; the M300 RTK requires DJI RC Plus. DJI also calls for current aircraft and controller firmware. Give FD the exact aircraft and remote controller when discussing a package, including the payload mounting arrangement already fitted to your drone.
The detachable DJI SKYPORT mount is part of this system choice. H30 is not presented here as a generic camera for an arbitrary PWM, HDMI or Ethernet payload port. A UAV having enough lifting capacity alone does not establish the required DJI integration.

Keep file resolution separate from the live picture on the controller. High-resolution saved photographs and video do not, by themselves, specify the radio-link view or promise identification of a particular feature at a fixed distance. A useful demonstration uses the actual subject size and working conditions relevant to your inspection.
DJI lists a 170×145×165 mm assembly, a weight of 920±5 g and 26 W power for H30. Include the complete aircraft configuration when planning flight work; this product page does not assign an endurance figure to an aircraft carrying the camera.
The three-axis gimbal supports tilt, roll and pan stabilization. Its published figures are manufacturer specifications, rather than FD test results. The IP54 rating is based on controlled laboratory conditions and may decline with wear; DJI lists an operating temperature range of −20°C to 50°C.
Provide the Matrice platform, controller, inspection subject, required photographs or video, delivery country and quantity. FD supplies the named DJI product; the quotation can then identify the hardware and accessories required for your visible-imaging work.
