The legacy text says that experienced technicians precisely install core components. It does not name the component, aircraft revision, mounting drawing, connector plan, fastener specification, electrical limit, technician qualification, or inspection result. Until the exact clip is independently viewed, “power heart” remains title language rather than a technical identity.
After playback approval, note only visible location, orientation, clearance, retention, and access cues at exact timecodes. A camera angle cannot establish hidden spacing, fastener condition, or compliance with a drawing.
Do not infer polarity, connector identity, wire order, voltage, current path, or a safe energized state from appearance. Those points require revision-specific documentation and an authorized inspection record.
Record whether labels and service points are visible, what would need removal for access, and which maintenance evidence is missing. Do not claim maintainability from a single assembly view.
| Review location | Visible cue to capture | Evidence not supplied locally | Responsible reviewer |
|---|---|---|---|
| Component identity | Label, shape, revision mark, adjacent parts | Bill of materials and drawing | Configuration owner |
| Mounting area | Position, orientation, apparent access | Clearance and retention criteria | Mechanical reviewer |
| Connections | Only clearly visible connector relationships | Pinout, polarity and power procedure | Electrical reviewer |
| Handoff | Any visible label or inspection action | Signed acceptance and traceability record | Quality owner |
What exact component is shown? Which build revision receives it? Does the retained video show placement, connection, inspection, or only a brief handling scene? What remains hidden by the camera? Which document authorizes the arrangement?
Reserve fields for the aircraft identity, installed component identity, drawing revision, mounting location, surrounding parts, visible orientation, cable or connector access, hidden areas, and the reviewer’s confidence in each observation. Link every visual note to a timecode. If the label cannot be read, describe the object neutrally and leave identity open.
A second reviewer should compare the scene notes with controlled documents without being told the desired conclusion. Their task is to find unsupported transitions: placement described as fastening, fastening described as inspection, or inspection described as acceptance. Disagreements remain visible until the source or document resolves them.
The eventual body can then be concise. It should say what the approved footage shows, what the drawing establishes, and what neither source proves. That three-part separation is more useful than calling an unnamed component important or praising technician experience without a qualification record. Record image exclusions as carefully as accepted frames so later authors do not reuse them.
