Understand the visible scene
The 20x optical lens helps frame visible features. The camera records 4K video at 30fps; Gremsy lists 30x super-resolution zoom separately from the optical lens.

Gremsy VIO G1 brings a Sony zoom camera, a 640×512 thermal channel and a laser rangefinder into one stabilized payload. It suits industrial drone teams that need to examine the same scene in visible and infrared views, with a camera system they can integrate into a MAVLink-based aircraft. Its defining thermal configuration is a 19mm lens at 30Hz.
The 20x optical lens helps frame visible features. The camera records 4K video at 30fps; Gremsy lists 30x super-resolution zoom separately from the optical lens.
The G1 thermal channel uses a 640×512 radiometric sensor with a 19mm fixed-focus lens. Temperature information is supported as an overlay on the runtime video.
The integrated laser rangefinder supplies distance information for scene assessment. Usable range depends on the observed surface and conditions; specify the required civil inspection task.

VIO G1 and VIO F1 share the product family name but have different thermal camera specifications. For buyers comparing quotations, the meaningful starting points are the lens and thermal frame rate. G1 is the 19mm, 30Hz version; F1 is listed with a FLIR Boson 640R, 14mm lens and 60Hz thermal channel.
Do not transfer an F1 thermal specification, FLIR designation or compliance claim to G1. Select the exact version against your customer's requirements and request the documents applicable to that version.
The EO camera can produce 3840×2160 photographs and 4K30 video. The current documentation lists HDMI and Ethernet live streams up to 1080p60. These are different stages of the imaging system: a 4K recorded file does not mean the ground display receives a 4K stream.
For thermal inspection, confirm the expected deliverable before ordering. A temperature overlay visible to the operator is useful for live assessment, but it does not by itself establish an export format suitable for offline radiometric analysis. Send the required file type or analysis software if the flight must produce that result.

For an integrator, buying the camera is only one part of the system. Check the mounting assembly and damping, power supply, accepted video input and payload-control path together. Gremsy's published platform support is a starting point for integration, rather than confirmation that every aircraft using a listed autopilot needs no setup.
The controller also needs the appropriate application and network arrangement. Tell us whether the operator will use QGroundControl, Gremsy Payload Assistant or a custom interface. We can match the required camera functions to the proposed control package instead of supplying a camera with an unsuitable display connection.
Do you need the largest combined zoom number? Compare the 20x optical lens first. Super-resolution and digital modes serve different image requirements; a combined enlargement figure is not equivalent to the same amount of optical detail.
Does thermal resolution guarantee measurement accuracy? It describes the image array. The required temperature range, analysis method and operating conditions need a separate review; this page makes no independent measurement-accuracy claim.
What should an inquiry include? Send the drone model, autopilot, payload allowance and ground controller, then describe whether the job needs live heat observation, stored visible video or a particular thermal-analysis output.
