SIYI UNIRC 7 · STANDARD MODEL

A seven-inch Android station when ground HDMI is unnecessary

The standard SIYI UniRC 7 combines a 7-inch screen, Android 13 and physical drone controls in a handheld ground station. Its 1280 × 800 display and 2.4 GHz radio configuration distinguish it from the UniRC 7 Pro. It is worth considering for civil UAV projects that use the integrated screen and do not require the Pro model's ground-side HDMI and Ethernet connections.

Specify “UniRC 7” when comparing quotations. The ordinary and Pro versions are separate configurations; a shared series name does not mean they have the same screen, radio bands or external ports.

This comparison concerns the ground station. The absence of a ground LAN socket should not be confused with the camera interfaces on the airborne unit. Name each endpoint when describing the required system.

Android workspace with physical inputs

UniRC 7 runs Android 13 with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage. The main sticks, small auxiliary joystick and six flight-mode buttons provide several ways to arrange the operator's controls. For a survey team, the useful question is which inputs the chosen application can use for the flight and camera functions.

Check the actual ground software and firmware combination if your project depends on a particular app. A general Android specification does not guarantee support for every application service or plug-in.

Keep the camera package explicit

The SIYI series separates the handheld station from the airborne unit and camera. A camera picture on the screen requires a supported video path, while telemetry and aircraft control have their own interfaces. Start with the camera's real output format and the autopilot model.

Ask for the corresponding standard air unit and required cables in the quotation. Images of a controller, receiver and antennas illustrate a configuration; they do not define an automatic list of supplied accessories.

When is standard the sensible choice?

The ordinary UniRC 7 is a reasonable candidate when the operator will use its built-in screen and the proposed camera/air-unit package meets the task. There is little reason to select extra ground connectors that the project will not use. Conversely, a required external HDMI monitor or wired ground-network workflow makes the Pro model worth comparing directly.

The stated 11-hour standard-model battery life is a manufacturer reference rather than a measured FD result. Screen settings, applications and active functions change power consumption. Build the working schedule around the intended use and the specified charging equipment.

UniRC 7 questions before purchase

Is the standard model the same as UniRC 7 Pro?

No. The standard model has the 1280 × 800 display and 2.4 GHz configuration, without the Pro ground HDMI/LAN ports. Compare the named version rather than a series headline.

Can standard UniRC 7 display a drone camera without ground Ethernet?

The camera connects through the selected airborne system. Ground Ethernet is a separate physical connection. Provide the camera and air-unit models so the complete video path can be confirmed.

Does the small joystick control every gimbal?

Control depends on software, channel mapping and the gimbal's interface. Identify the camera model and required functions; the presence of an auxiliary joystick alone does not establish compatibility.

Compare a standard and Pro package with FD

Send the UAV, autopilot, camera output and ground software. Tell us whether an external monitor or ground network is needed. FD can then quote the standard UniRC 7 package or compare it with the UniRC 7 Pro using the differences that affect your work.
