SIYI · Visible and thermal UAV imaging

SIYI ZT6 Dual Sensor Gimbal Camera

ZT6 brings a visible camera and a 640 × 512 thermal imager onto one three-axis gimbal. Its fixed lenses suit aerial inspection where the operator needs scene context and a heat view without carrying a large optical-zoom payload. For a solar array, roof survey or equipment inspection, choose the aircraft position and thermal field of view around the detail you need to see.

SIYI ZT6 combines visible and thermal imaging in a compact gimbal payload.

Visible context

The 8 MP visible sensor supports 4K recording. The lens stays fixed; the listed 6× zoom is digital enlargement. Use the visible image to identify the panel, roof section or component being inspected and keep a record of the surrounding scene.

Thermal detail

The uncooled 640 × 512 detector uses a fixed 13 mm lens. Its thermal view supports inspection of heat patterns, while 2× digital enlargement helps the operator examine part of the image. Match viewing distance to the smallest feature in your inspection plan.

Build the inspection workflow around both views

Full-frame, point and box temperature measurement modes provide different ways to examine a thermal scene. Tell FD whether the deliverable is a live heat view, a selected temperature reading or files for later analysis. That choice helps define the camera settings, ground display and recording workflow together.

Request a complete imaging kit

Send your aircraft model, available payload mass, mounting space, power supply, video receiver and preferred control connection. Include the inspection distance and temperature-data requirement. FD can then quote the ZT6 with the mounting and connection items your installation needs. AI tracking uses an optional module; include it in the request if required.

Questions before choosing ZT6

Does ZT6 have optical zoom?

No. Both lenses are fixed. The visible channel lists 6× digital zoom and the thermal channel lists 2× digital zoom.

Which weight should I use for aircraft planning?

Start with 197 g when using the anti-vibration board, then add your installation cables and any other mounting hardware.

Can I connect it to an existing FPV video system?

Match the receiver to the chosen Ethernet, CVBS or micro-HDMI connection. Send the receiver model so the video and control connections can be included in the kit.

When is a zoom camera a better choice?

Choose an optical-zoom payload when the aircraft must stay farther from a small feature and the visible camera needs a narrower view.
