SIYI A2 MINI · WIDE-ANGLE FPV CAMERA
The SIYI A2 mini is an 85 g single-axis FPV gimbal camera for agricultural drones and other compact unmanned platforms. Its 160° horizontal field of view favors a broad operating picture, while a controllable pitch axis lets the operator change the viewing angle. Ethernet video, a 12 V supply and a 65 × 43 × 50 mm body make it a candidate for projects that need a lightweight live-view camera rather than a long optical zoom payload.

A spraying-drone operator may want to see the surrounding crop area and the direction of travel in one picture. A camera framed tightly around a distant fitting solves a different problem. The A2 mini is designed around the wider view: SIYI lists a 1/2.7-inch sensor with 2 MP effective resolution and describes 1080p FPV video with distortion correction.
A very wide lens distributes the scene across the available pixels. It helps with context, but a small feature at the edge of the work area will occupy less of the picture than it would through a narrower lens. Select the A2 mini by the live overview you need. For a project centered on more detailed image capture, compare the SIYI A8 mini 4K gimbal camera before specifying the camera package.
The published controllable pitch range is −90° to +25°. That gives the operator an adjustable up-and-down camera view without treating the entire drone attitude as the camera adjustment. SIYI also documents an upside-down installation mode.
This is a single-axis camera. It does not provide the independent yaw and roll movement of a three-axis inspection gimbal, and the 160° lens is not an optical zoom lens. Choose a different payload when those movements or magnified visible detail determine the job.

The Ethernet connection belongs in the video path; the S.Bus, PWM or UDP choice belongs in the camera-control plan. A suitable connector alone does not establish that the receiving link and application can display the stream and expose pitch control. Tell us which air unit and ground application you already use so the quotation can address those two jobs separately.
The 12 V camera input also needs to be included in the aircraft power design. The average consumption is useful for an initial power budget, while the listed peak should be considered when selecting the supply. Allow for the actual bracket and cable routing in addition to the small camera-body dimensions. Keep the movable view clear of the aircraft structure over the pitch range you intend to use.
No. SIYI identifies the A2 mini as a single-axis gimbal with pitch movement. A requirement for independent pan or three-axis camera movement points to another model.
The A2 mini specification lists Ethernet video output. Check the receiving link for the appropriate network-video input and software support instead of choosing an HDMI-only path from the camera name.
SIYI documents this installation mode. The bracket position, view clearance and the intended camera orientation should be considered together when selecting the mounting arrangement.
Send FD your drone type, proposed mounting position, available supply, air-unit model and the screen or application used by the operator. Include whether you need the camera alone or the associated mounting and connection items. These details help us quote a wide-view FPV camera package around your actual aircraft and viewing setup.
