30x optical zoom · Visible imaging · Network video
DIF30S62-E is a visible-light gimbal camera for UAV projects that need adjustable framing from one camera. Its 30x optical zoom lens spans nominal focal lengths of 4.5–135 mm, paired with a 2 MP sensor and three-axis stabilization. The camera sends 1080p video through an IP network and can record locally to a TF card.
Choose this model when the zoom lens is central to your inspection or observation task. A broad view helps establish the scene; a tighter frame lets the operator examine a selected feature while keeping the camera pointed independently of the aircraft.

The optical lens changes focal length rather than relying only on enlargement of the video image. For a building survey or a civil UAV observation project, that gives the operator a useful choice between scene context and a closer view. Include the expected working distance and the feature you need to see when selecting the camera.
RTSP network video supports a receiving application or video system built around IP streams. Local TF storage provides a separate recording location on the payload. Decide who needs the live picture, where it will be recorded, and how the recorded files will be collected before choosing the rest of the video equipment.

Start the aircraft payload calculation with the camera weight, then add the selected dampers, mounting bracket and cables. Check the available space beneath or ahead of the aircraft and the clearance needed as the gimbal moves. A mounting drawing and a photograph of the intended installation position are useful starting points for discussing fit.
The video connection and the command connection serve different jobs. Specify whether your project uses IP or UART to command the camera and gimbal, and name the application or equipment that will receive the RTSP picture.

This gives us a practical basis for discussing the camera configuration and the accessories your project needs.
