A practical choice when a UAV inspection needs optical reframing and a 1080p network video feed. The TOPOTEK DIY10S62-E combines a nominal 10x optical zoom camera, a three-axis gimbal and electronic image stabilization. It supplies 1080p30 RTSP video over IP, with photo and video storage on a local TF card. Choose it around the picture required by the operator and the aircraft’s available mounting, power and video connections.

Three functions, three different jobs

Optical framing

The lens changes the field of view before the image becomes a video stream. This is the feature to compare when an inspection needs a broad overview followed by a closer visible-light view.

Gimbal and EIS

Mechanical stabilization and the listed EIS function address image movement. They do not replace a suitable aircraft mount, nor establish a guaranteed result under every vibration condition.

Network video

The IP/RTSP output provides the video path for an integration. The receiving computer, display software and any separate transmission equipment still need to match that path.

TOPOTEK also describes hybrid enlargement. For a lens comparison, keep the 10x optical designation separate from the larger hybrid figure. Request a representative view at the optical setting you intend to use, rather than selecting only by the largest enlargement number.

Decide by the inspection picture

Observe temperature differencesThis is a visible-light camera, so that requirement calls for another sensor type.A thermal or dual-sensor product rather than a software color effect.

Build the camera-to-operator path

01 — Supply the camera. The published input is DC 12–26.2 V, with a listed dynamic power of 5 W. Include the selected cable, connector and aircraft power arrangement in the integration discussion.
02 — Carry the video. Identify the IP receiver or network endpoint. An IP camera output does not by itself include an aircraft-to-ground radio link.
03 — Operate and record. The manufacturer lists UART and IP control. Check the intended control implementation together with live viewing and local recording, so that a display-only demonstration does not stand in for the complete workflow.

Allow room for the complete installation

The camera is listed at 425 ±10 g excluding dampers, with a 150 mm diameter and 140 mm height. These are useful starting points for an aircraft review. Add the actual damping assembly, mounting hardware and cables to the installed mass, and check physical clearance through the intended gimbal movement.

For roof inspection, building-condition documentation or other civil visual surveys, share an example of the feature that must remain readable. A sample recorded file and the operator’s live picture answer different questions; evaluate the one the customer will actually rely on.

Product questions

Is the 90x figure an optical lens ratio?

No. TOPOTEK separates the nominal 10x optical lens from hybrid enlargement. Optical and digital contributions should remain distinct in a purchase comparison.

Does it supply a thermal image?

No. The documented sensor is a 2MP visible-light CMOS camera. Select a thermal model if temperature contrast is essential.

Can the same unit provide live video and local storage?

The manufacturer lists RTSP live output and TF recording. Confirm the recording mode and receiving application for the supplied configuration.

Use Get Quote with the aircraft model, available mounting space, power source and receiving application. Add the required cable and recording scope so FD can prepare a clearly defined camera supply.
