The Skydroid G12 combines a 5.5-inch 1920 × 1080 display with Android 13, physical sticks and a 12-channel control system. It suits UAV teams that want an integrated handheld screen without carrying a separate phone holder. Its 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage provide the platform for the selected ground application; application and camera compatibility still depend on the complete package.

Three decisions before choosing the G12

Screen size

A 5.5-inch screen keeps the equipment compact. Consider how easily your operator can read the actual telemetry and touch the app controls while a camera window is open.

Ground software

The controller uses a Qualcomm 6 nm processor and Android 13. Name the required app and version so its installation, video display and use of physical inputs can be checked.

Airborne package

Specify the receiver and camera together. A controller with a display is only one part of the video path; camera output and airborne connections must match.

The manual gives a 4–8-hour operating-time reference. It is not an FD endurance measurement. Display settings, application workload and connected equipment affect the time available on a charge.

Separate the screen, control link and camera connection

For a civil inspection drone, describe the proposed system in three parts: the G12 ground unit, the airborne receiver and the camera. The manual lists serial, USB, SIM and Type-C connections on the ground unit. Their presence does not make every flight controller or video source interchangeable.

Supply the autopilot model and the camera's real output format. If the operator needs to adjust a gimbal from a wheel or button, include those functions in the request. Viewing video and controlling a gimbal are different requirements, even when both appear in the same application.

Is this the same controller as G12-H?

No. This listing is for the G12 named in the linked G12 manual. We keep it separate from the G12-H so the quotation can identify the supplied version.

Does a camera come with every G12?

The manual describes a camera as an optional accessory. Request the camera, receiver, antennas and cables explicitly if you need a complete video-and-control package.

Is the published radio distance a working guarantee?

No. Range depends on installation, terrain, local radio conditions and permitted operation. We do not use the conflicting website distance headlines as a guaranteed specification for this listing.
