Specify the Viewpro Q30T Pro II around the video connection your drone system needs. This 30x optical zoom camera provides a visible-light inspection picture on a three-axis gimbal. Viewpro lists HDMI, IP and SDI output options, together with Standard and Viewport mounting versions. Those choices are useful when matching an existing aircraft, receiver or recorder, but they should be treated as configuration decisions rather than a promise that every output is fitted to every unit.

Begin with the receiving equipment. A monitor expecting HDMI, a computer receiving an IP stream and an SDI recording chain have different requirements. The camera's Full HD image specification is only one part of that match. Ask for the delivered output version and its supported format to be named on the quotation.
| Video route | Manufacturer-listed format | Useful buying question |
|---|---|---|
| Micro HDMI | 1080p at 60fps | Does the intended input accept this camera output and connector arrangement? |
| IP over Ethernet | RTSP/UDP, 720p or 1080p at 25/30fps | Which format and receiving application must be supported? |
| SDI | 1080p at 30fps | Is an SDI version needed for the existing video chain? |
| Local recording | MP4 at 1080p30 | Is the onboard file, the live view, or both required for the inspection? |
Also keep the camera output distinct from a radio link. Buying the gimbal camera does not by itself define the aircraft's wireless transmission equipment. Describing the receiver and the final viewing position helps FD quote a camera configuration that belongs in the complete system.
The Q30T Pro II uses a Sony 1/2.8-inch Exmor R CMOS camera with 1920 × 1080 image quality and a 4.3–129mm lens. Its 30x figure is the optical zoom ratio. Digital zoom is a separate enlargement function; multiplying optical and digital figures does not describe a longer physical optical lens.
For civil inspection, the useful question is whether a representative fitting, surface feature or exposed component is readable in the required picture. Review the framing and original image at the format that will actually be used. A general claim about observation distance cannot establish the result for every material, weather condition and installation.

The current product table lists 895g and dimensions of 128.2 × 104.9 × 183.9mm. Use the complete intended installation when checking aircraft capacity, including any additional support and cable hardware.
The listed mass rises to 960g, with height increasing to 189.6mm. Viewport is the manufacturer's optional quick-release arrangement. Confirm the mating mount and connection required by the aircraft.
Endless pan is identified for IP and SDI output versions. This is another reason to select the output and mounting package together. The mechanical capability of one version should not be assumed for a differently configured unit simply because both carry the Q30T name.
The current table lists JPG photographs, 1080p30 MP4 recording and SD storage up to 512GB using the specified Class 10/FAT32 media. The recorded file is a separate deliverable from the live stream. If post-flight review matters, request a representative saved file rather than assess only a screen view.
PWM, TTL and S.Bus control appear in the product information, with TCP/UDP control associated with the IP version. Select the method the aircraft and operator software can support. The published supply is 4S–6S, with 16V listed as the working voltage; the exact supplied unit and aircraft-side provision should be reviewed together.
Use the exact version in the enquiry. This page follows the current Pro II product table, including its two mounting masses and output options.
Are HDMI, IP and SDI all available simultaneously? The product is offered with output choices. Confirm the interfaces and simultaneous-output behaviour of the particular unit being quoted.
Does the camera include thermal imaging? This is a visible-light EO product. For a paired thermal channel, compare a dual-sensor camera rather than expect an infrared mode from the EO sensor.
What should I send to FD?Provide the aircraft, preferred mount, required receiver input, control method and local recording requirement. A sample inspection picture or feature description can make the optical comparison more useful.
Request a Q30T Pro II package with the output and mount stated explicitly. FD can then quote the relevant camera arrangement and identify the connections that need to match your UAV project.
