The Viewpro Q10F combines a 10x visible-light zoom camera with a three-axis gimbal. It suits civil UAV projects where an operator needs to move from a broad view of a roof, tower or pipeline to a closer view of one feature, using an HDMI or analog video connection. Start the selection with the input on your aircraft's video transmitter: this camera's output is a useful deciding factor.

Change framing with the lens before relying on a digital crop to enlarge an inspection detail.
Pitch, roll and yaw stabilization supports an independently directed aerial view.
Keep an onboard MOV recording as well as the live video sent to the ground.
An HDMI connector on the payload does not establish that the whole drone link accepts its signal. Compare the supported resolution and frame rate at the camera, transmitter and monitor. The manufacturer's Q10F table separates 1080p HDMI output from 1080p30 local recording. That distinction matters if the operator wants a live view while the team also needs a file for later examination.
| Your inspection requirement | Q10F selection point | What to specify |
|---|---|---|
| Read a small visible feature in daylight | 10x optical lens and autofocus | Required framing, stand-off distance and a sample subject |
| Use an HDMI airborne transmitter | Micro HDMI output | Accepted input format and connector arrangement |
| Keep footage after the flight | SD recording, MOV at 1080p30 | Card arrangement and recording-control method |
| Switch between aircraft | Optional Viewport mounting version | Mount type, available space and complete installed mass |
For a roof inspection, the pilot may need to keep a wide forward view while the camera operator examines a joint or surface patch. A steerable zoom payload provides a different role from the fixed FPV flight camera. Plan which person operates pan, tilt, zoom and recording, then select the corresponding control connection. Q10F documentation lists PWM and TTL serial control, with S.Bus available as an option.
The manufacturer's specification gives a 4S–6S input range and lists different standard and Viewport dimensions. Allow room for gimbal movement, the connector and a supported cable route. The damper and mounting arrangement also belong in the aircraft payload calculation; lens magnification alone cannot determine the quality of a moving-aircraft image.

Does it provide thermal imaging? Q10F is a visible-light camera. For a job that needs heat-pattern observation, compare a thermal or EO/IR payload rather than treating visible zoom as a substitute.
Can it connect directly to an FPV monitor? The complete connection depends on the monitor and the airborne link. Match HDMI or analog interfaces throughout the path; the gimbal itself is not a wireless video transmitter.
Is the quick-release version standard? Viewpro lists Viewport as an option. Identify that mounting version in the quotation, together with the required control interface.
