Put a steerable zoom view into an Ethernet drone system

Choose the Viewpro Q10N when your aircraft already carries an IP video link and you need to examine visible details without changing to an HDMI camera path. Its 10x optical lens and three-axis gimbal combine a closer inspection view with independent camera pointing. Typical selection questions are practical: can the ground application decode the stream, where will recording be stored, and who will operate zoom?

Follow the video from camera to screen

1. Camera output

Q10N provides Ethernet/IP video, with 720p and 1080p formats listed.

2. Airborne link

The transmitter must accept the camera's actual network video format.

3. Operator display

The ground application must receive and display that stream.

This is particularly useful when expanding an existing inspection aircraft rather than selecting every component from scratch. An Ethernet connector alone does not settle the software connection. Include the transmitter and viewing application in your inquiry so the required stream settings can be checked together. The manufacturer's page describes 720p as the default; request the desired live format explicitly.

Use zoom for the inspection, keep flight awareness separate

For a solar installation or building inspection, begin with the whole area in view, then frame the particular panel, joint or surface feature that needs closer examination. Optical zoom changes the lens framing; it does not determine whether a defect will be visible under every lighting and vibration condition. A representative photograph of the feature you want to see is more useful for selection than a requested distance alone.

If the aircraft also carries a fixed FPV camera, decide which view the pilot watches and which view the inspector controls. That avoids asking a tightly framed inspection image to serve every flight task. Q10N can keep an onboard recording independently of what the operator chooses to display on the ground.

Three common purchasing questions

Is Q10N an HDMI replacement for Q10F? Choose by interface rather than by the similar model names. This Q10N listing is the IP-video option; an existing HDMI transmitter requires a separately verified connection solution.

Does it include a wireless transmitter? The listed IP output is a camera connection, not a quoted wireless range. Specify the airborne link separately.

Which control connection should I request? Select the interface your aircraft or operator console actually provides. Confirm S.Bus when needed rather than assuming every control option is enabled together.
