The TOPOTEK DIY10G619-E puts a 10x optical zoom visible camera and a 640×512 thermal imager in one three-axis UAV payload. It is a useful combination when an inspection needs both surface context and heat-pattern observation. The visible channel helps the operator identify the part being examined; the thermal channel provides another way to examine that same scene through its 19mm lens.
A 2MP CMOS camera supplies 1080p30 video with 10x optical zoom. Use a wider frame to locate an asset, then change the lens framing to examine a smaller feature.
The uncooled VOx detector has 640×512 native pixels and 12µm pixel pitch. Its 19mm lens is specified with a 22.9°×18.4° field of view.

On a rooftop or solar installation, a visible image can help distinguish equipment, joints and surrounding structures. A thermal view can reveal relative differences in the displayed heat pattern. Those views serve different purposes: a bright region in a thermal palette is not automatically a measured temperature, and increasing the visible zoom does not change the thermal lens.
Picture-in-picture and palette switching are listed by TOPOTEK. Discuss the view layout your operator needs, especially if the ground display is small. For some tasks the thermal picture should remain large; for others the visible view is the main reference and thermal is used to compare an area of interest.
| Buying decision | Documented capability | Specify for your UAV |
|---|---|---|
| Visible inspection detail | 10x optical zoom; 1080p30 | Asset type and required framing |
| Thermal scene coverage | 640×512 detector; fixed 19mm lens | Desired thermal coverage at the working distance |
| Ground video connection | IP/RTSP video | Radio Ethernet input and ground software |
| Numerical temperature readings | Temperature measurement is optional | Required measurement mode and supplied camera configuration |
Optical zoom and temperature measurement are separate choices. The headline 10x figure describes the visible optical lens. The manufacturer's larger hybrid zoom figure is not a 90x optical lens. Temperature measurement must also be specified separately from ordinary thermal video.
The published electrical range is DC12–26.2V, with listed dynamic power of 6.5W. TOPOTEK gives a body size of approximately Ø148×143mm and a mass of 525±20g. Use the full fitted assembly, wiring and aircraft mount when checking available payload capacity and clearance.
UART and IP control are supported, and local TF storage is listed for photos and video. The video stream still needs an appropriate aircraft-to-ground connection. Identify the existing radio, its network interface and the intended display software before ordering, so a camera purchase fits the whole UAV imaging system.

Does 640×512 describe both cameras? It is the native thermal detector resolution. The visible camera has its own 2MP sensor and 1080p video specification.
Will every unit display temperatures? The source lists measurement as an option. Request that configuration if numerical readings are part of your inspection requirement.
Is a wireless link included in this model name? The documented camera output is IP/RTSP. Choose the radio and ground display as part of the aircraft system rather than assuming a built-in link.
