G982-4G positioning claims require observable chain evidence. Receiver and modem revisions, antennas, correction transport, timing logs, coordinate handling and a lawful checkpoint sample belong to one acceptance file. The G982-4G archive lists a UM982 receiver, EC600M cellular module, ESP32S3 processor, QMC5883L magnetometer, 1408 channels, multi-constellation signals, UAVCAN, 20Hz positioning and raw observations, plus RTCM 3.x. It states 5V at 1.2A, 65 × 45 × 14mm, 55 × 55mm mounting and 22.5g. Published RTK and timing figures remain conditional until antennas, corrections, baseline, firmware and test method are attached to the delivered module.

Specify SIM and carrier responsibility, supported network bands, correction transport, reconnect behaviour and data ownership. Loss of cellular service should be visible in logs; it must not be hidden behind a generic real-time monitoring claim.
For mapping or inspection, save raw and corrected outputs, fix status, antenna geometry, firmware, coordinate frame, timestamps and a checkpoint comparison. A receiver data-sheet value is not the same as project accuracy after mounting and processing.
Share correction service, antenna layout and output format so the evidence chain can be scoped.
Positioning acceptance joins hardware identity to corrections, timing and project validation.
