The YANGDA Recon Eye-X-Pro is a small three-axis camera gimbal built around a fixed visible-light lens. It is worth considering when a multirotor needs a steerable overview image rather than a large optical zoom payload. Its useful distinction is the combination of 4K streaming, network control and a compact camera assembly; the recording format needs a separate decision.

The listed maximum live stream is 4K at 30fps.
The current specification lists this maximum onboard recording resolution at 30fps.
If a construction inspection requires a live overview but the final deliverable is a recorded clip, specify both results. YANGDA describes 4K recording as a future firmware capability, so it is not treated as an included present feature here. This distinction can prevent a small camera that suits live viewing from being selected against an unsupported recording requirement.

A fixed camera lens can be a useful starting point for documenting a worksite, observing a roof area or providing context around an inspection. Decide which object must remain visible at the edge of the frame and which detail must be distinguishable near the centre. If both requirements cannot be met at the same distance, compare an optical zoom camera rather than relying entirely on digital enlargement.
For changing lighting, ask for representative sample imagery that resembles the actual job: bright sky above a dark structure, shadow beneath an overhang or a dim work area. The manufacturer describes low-light visible processing and HDR, but that does not make this camera a thermal imager. Match the type of evidence the inspection requires before comparing sensitivity claims.

Send the aircraft mounting position and the clearance around the camera, including the path of its cables. A compact housing is helpful only when the moving assembly can see the required area without obstruction. Network video and serial control also need to be matched to the flight controller, video transmitter and ground application. Treat software adaptation as a defined part of integration rather than assuming a shared connector establishes full compatibility.
Is the 4K live stream also a 4K recording? Not in the current published recording specification. It lists 2688×1608 at 30fps, with 4K recording described as a future firmware upgrade.
Does the camera include thermal imaging? This is a visible-light model. Select an EO/IR camera if thermal contrast is needed in the same payload.
Is it suitable for close inspection details? It depends on framing and the required detail. Share a sample subject and working distance; a fixed-lens overview and a telephoto inspection serve different purposes.
